Troubleshooting

If nothing here covers what you are seeing, please open an issue. Attach the log file, and say which version you have from Settings › About.

• The application will not start

  Windows warnings, apt refusing the package, or nothing happening at all.

• No sound, or only one output

  A device missing from the list, or a second output that stays silent.

• A track or subtitle is missing

  Tracks with no names, a description not being chosen, or a file beside the video not listed.

• The sound is out of sync

  Wireless headphones running late, or an external audio file that will not sync.

• Problems with Jellyfin

  No server found, quick connect code refused, or TinePlayer missing from the Jellyfin app.

• Problems with Kodi

  Kodi still playing videos itself, or TinePlayer not appearing at all.

• Settings or saved data

  Settings back at their defaults, or a video not resuming where it stopped.
